Deliziosa Rosticceria

Via Paolo Sarpi, as it is known, is dotted with many trattorias with small dehors where you can have a quick meal. They are almost all quite anonymous and offer enormous menus. Italians never stop there and these remain a destination only for the local Chinese community.

Deliziosa Rosticceria is one of these places, located practically in the center of the street. I went there for a quick lunch and enjoyed it.

Deliziosa Rosticceria, as the title suggests, is a place where you can eat homemade and tasty food. Inside the place is very simple, there are few seats near the kitchen, while outside there is a small gazebo where you can sit down for a quick meal. The owner is there to serve, a bit hasty but kind.

The menu, needless to say, is very long (it has over 72 dishes) and is divided into sections: "snack" (including dumplings, pickled vegetables, cold meat, chicken or duck legs, Chinese focaccia - cong you bing), "grilled dishes" (ie skewers), "first course" (various preparations of noodles and rice), "soup" (it is the largest category involving noodles in broth - impossible to name them all, but I point to the Korean army casserole, really unusual and difficult to find, and the very abundant and tasty handmade noodles with pork ribs), "various sautées" (this is also a macro category, among the various dishes the duck head salt and pepper, Chinese cabbage hot and sour, duck with mushrooms and bamboo or hot and sour potato) and finally a small section "Italian cuisine" (with two types of pasta and lasagna) definitely suitable for those who don't eat Chinese in company or more likely for Italians who have small children.

The courses are all very generous, so order one thing at a time to avoid leaving food on your plate. However, it is possible to take away what has not been consumed or simply take a take away.

In my opinion, Deliziosa Rosticceria is the ideal place to have a quick, tasty, nutritious and unpretentious meal, as well as spending a very small amount!
